a) good implies vs bad...a conflict caused by consenting to suggested (want) over perceived (need).
b) luck (chance; unknown cause) ignores that perception (knowledge) represents the only source for everything within. The gambler hopes for luck; the house always wins because it suggests hope towards luck to get the gambler to consent to losing.
