Yes, I will eat bugs and survive. Wife is from Laos. Bugs are a part of their dietary intake. There are societies today that have bugs in their diets. Not a big deal, nor alarming. Western societies have just gotten soft.

In the 920th Air Rescue Wing we were taught foraging. That included bugs.
