They tried to teach the kids to like police, be more willing to speak to police by putting them in schools, and calling them school resource officers. I was very surprised I was an outlier teaching my children not to speak to police without an approved adult.

This standing army doesn't have to abide the Geneva Convention either.

Police vary, from state to state, county to county, city to city, and on a neighborhood level.

One can only make such a blanket statement about federalized agents.

having lived all over the U.S. in alot of different jurisdictions serving significantly different regional demographics, interacting often with "law enforcement", many times in situations that should in no way have been confrontational or adversarial, my personal experience says such a blanket statement about "law enforcement" is pretty much correct.

at least in the U.S., cops don't become cops because they view the law as something that should be a stable platform for everyone to build a decent life on. U.S. cops view the law as a means to power and a way to inflict their self-righteousness on others.

Three states, six cities, as well as numerous neighborhoods, and interactions with state troopers, and in my experience, you are completely wrong.

You've made a good argument for cops being bad, and that they need to be federalized, and putting them under centralized control, that would only lead to easier manipulation. Where do you think your argument takes us? Nothing good comes from your argument of 'the cops are the enemy for which the second amendment exists'. Are you encouraging people to go out and engage the enemy Glowy? Bad form nigger.

As for the motivation for police becoming police. You are missing the key factor, the majority of all people choose their careers based solely on their pay. Which isn't a problem in the police force, but one of systemic corruption based in the fractional banking system that controls and corrupts all forms of governance.
