Not that I have strong feelings about NASA either way (can’t really trust anything at this point), but the explanation would be this:
Right image is taken with a wider lens from a nearer distance. Left image is taken from further away, with a narrower lens (and obv when the earth is at a different rotation). Then they are both scaled to match each other. A circle is always a circle however you scale it.
“The entire globe is in both photos...” What are you even saying? Point out Antarctica or Asia to me in the either photo and get back to me. Honestly, I’d like for you to be right about lies regarding earths geometry... it would be interesting... but you look like a fool right now and it’s disheartening.
Yeah and on the Blue Marble 2002 image if you look at the high resolution photo, you can see the clouds in the lower left portion of the image are exactly the same clouds photoshopped.
This is simply a difference in optics. For example, if you hold a camera close near someone's face with the whole face in the viewfinder, their nose looks bigger than if you stand 100 feet away and use a telephoto lens and crop to hold the whole face. Yet in both cases you might have the overall face be the same size as far as the picture size. The lens focal length affects perspective.
The same object can look different at the same scale because of perspective of the viewer. You have no experience in photography or perspective in art - both of which explain this. I'll see if I can find a link to a clear explanation that will set you right. Then you'll see.
Here: same size glass in each case, but it is distorted by focal length. The same thing applies to satellite cameras and the earth. The earth can be the ssme size in two pictures but it can be distorted in one picture due to different perspective of view.
That is odd. They're clearly editing these. Since they're both NASA images that they claim are from spacecraft that really boggles the mind. If the land were similar in size I'd say it was perspective but they're too different
If you zoomed in the whole globe would also get bigger not just the land masses. I’ve seen filters do an effect that can change sizes of images however that’s not what we have here. This is an artist image Nasa only claims to have like 2 actual photos of earth. One of them from the Apollo missions and you know how people feel about that
I know there is funky stuff going on with the space program of our nation and other nations, and maybe some of it is to hide the presence of aliens. I'm no flat earther either.
Frankly, I'm more than willing to accept on the face as true what they do show us, and believe there is much that they are NOT showing us.
Images of the earth are fake yes. But fake images are not proof.....
Exactly
I know
lies, everything we've been told are lies ... EVERYTHING

Source?
I mean it's true, it's pretty much on the NASA websites. There is a person who stitches them together.
Blue marble cloud copy paste https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oht5khuiBjM
Like, I don't believe earth is flat... and space is fake, but shit like this really makes you question things.
I want to see a link to a source for both images or else I'll just assume it's photo shop propaganda
good man
It good to question everything your on the right path. https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALiCzsbU16c39uHqhxQy0XrXgtB7mC7sQQ:1654788795378&source=univ&tbm=isch&q=nasa+photos+of+earth&hl=en-us&client=safari&fir=dfdGuCP5oa6wGM%252CP3W4iL527E_UxM%252C_%253BSk_40ANz6oNabM%252CZ1R6Aguj67n8TM%252C_%253BzXPxxXa3-rCxsM%252C4PDd8XKDEYBfAM%252C_%253BvJlly72XLfVIMM%252CSSdH04X9zsdEzM%252C_%253BIeeOqS09TMvPuM%252Cp0fF0pnjLwXVcM%252C_%253BcZJzkvkH_gYEAM%252C2UImRJUHgKrrqM%252C_%253BIC_MWs-cbpxMdM%252CVxN-psKm2mcwdM%252C_%253BrWuyfu04RQ62IM%252CaDa_luJFz_r7HM%252C_%253BxA7gSC5nUQBaIM%252Chh7icabxwOkDdM%252C_%253BkM0HosjD2ciHZM%252CbcaFnfeUMt4sEM%252C_%253BjMeJrrGi9vRDPM%252Cz4dHa_TzhCn5NM%252C_%253BivrNiwornGDQOM%252CY_rZH67_9sLj2M%252C_%253Boc7-uEEcDgARaM%252CPJVyZm-EwTbhQM%252C_%253BXUGRfdzkM8AiGM%252CPRouEeevh4RyIM%252C_%253B9-Eo62ZW0D9oYM%252CGcHaQnqKkiUqLM%252C_%253BvUIJMHfTYo-gLM%252CpxiK5yqa0nPUFM%252C_%253BZLuvkk0pVerS6M%252CUm7931bBSleyJM%252C_%253BaXAJmBjCMatIgM%252Cv8tYPBiucWOPOM%252C_%253BjRaoJVro3_-hJM%252CM7oAyhkpT91khM%252C_%253Bk6Ml-AsuC_K3hM%252CpxiK5yqa0nPUFM%252C_%253B22ePHkEyq3S_PM%252C6GCAH3cBxlvYJM%252C_&usg=AI4_-kScdQzrJGrXVozA1YhmUhsIJ7KsBw&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi3ns7S2KD4AhWyAzQIHeRAACwQ7Al6BAgDEGA&biw=428&bih=860&dpr=3

This stuff cracks me up. You're on to something man.... or maybe you should understand a little bit about how cameras work first.
This is simply a difference in optics. These are artist depictions it has nothing to do with what you said
I'm sure the guys here think real-estate photos where houses look bigger than they are proves that houses don't exist.

I won't beat you over the head, but I disagree. It is okay to be doubtful but one also has to be sure one's on the right track.
i need sources on the 2 images of Earth, please

you sent me a link to a google images search.
lame.
anyway, i found one of the images - but not the other.
so i suspect one is photoshopped.
That is odd. They're clearly editing these. Since they're both NASA images that they claim are from spacecraft that really boggles the mind. If the land were similar in size I'd say it was perspective but they're too different
correct. the lame part was the attempt to help was pathetic.
lol... sorry, i'm not wasting my time doing research for you. either produce what you claim, or suck a dick.
did you? all i saw was a link to google images.
thanks for saving me 10 seconds.
Compare the images yourself space.com or nasa’s own website
i am not going to waste my time
you said the photos were official nasa photos.
i asked for sources.
you sent me to google images.
lol - downvoting you.
Google images that are from space.com and nasa do you know how the internet works?
suck a dick
i could
if i researched everything i doubted, i would be researching all day. i don't have time to work for you.
Yet you've posted the most in this thread, and all your post are you expressing how useless you are at research... You're fucking 10-ply bud
the fuck kind of logic is that.
"you have time to post in this thread, so you must have time to do the research for me." - 925TheJOY
mate, i work for me. not for you.
asking for sources to back up a claim != someone else thinking for me
jeez your daft
exactly.
It's called "zoom" and "perspective"
Then the size of the whole globe would also change
Explain.
If you zoomed in the whole globe would also get bigger not just the land masses. I’ve seen filters do an effect that can change sizes of images however that’s not what we have here. This is an artist image Nasa only claims to have like 2 actual photos of earth. One of them from the Apollo missions and you know how people feel about that
You can't take a picture and zoom in on a crop so something looks bigger?
that would be "photoshopped"
I don't buy flat Earth, but that 2012 image... if you imagine where Antarctica would be it ends up opposite of North America.
2002 image seems to be more accurately photoshopped.
I know there is funky stuff going on with the space program of our nation and other nations, and maybe some of it is to hide the presence of aliens. I'm no flat earther either.
Frankly, I'm more than willing to accept on the face as true what they do show us, and believe there is much that they are NOT showing us.
Good assessment. Agreed.
