I have to ask how DNA could appear in plain water. DNA is made up of amino acids, which water cannot form because it simply does not have carbon in the molecule. So, what is going on?
I do not accept that DNA is somehow teleporting in some quantum mechanical way from one container to another. If that were so, we would see (rare) spontaneous pregnancies.
