So, they need an actors to perform as daemons and stupid video projections instead of portals. Why do they need actors and scary CGI instead of real daemons and portals?

Doesn't that mean that they are desperately wanted that to happen, but completely failed? Or they heavily missed some deadline and trying to cheat masters with that dumb shows?

It is like building plywood tanks to fool the king when you can't build real ones.
