Biden is going to threaten executive orders if gun control isn't passed. My family has a variety of short range arms but nothing long range. Trying to save up for a down payment for a house, should we go ahead and get this while we still can?
What does everyone here think?
Rifle: $2000
Decent scope: $1000-6000(night vision/thermal)
Ammo: $5/rd = $5000/case
Plus other accessories : $100-500
I'd say that's a pretty expensive insurance policy but if you have the money and a potential use case then go for it.
You know your stuff! Got any night vision rec's for this caliber? I don't want the kick to destroy a sensitive scope...
hah I don't really know much (but I do watch a lot of yootube videos) however I wouldn't invest in a sniper/big game rifle without budgeting for a decent thermal scope and a shitload of ammo or reloading supplies.
Without a badass optic you might as well go with an AR-10 in .308, imo.
