To me, liberal or libertarian just means I just want to be left alone, do what you want heathens just leave me alone, stop indoctrinating kids (like that will ever stop), I don’t mind paying taxes for roads, bridges, everything else is tyranny, “drug war” lol. Simple explanation there’s more to it but hopefully you get the idea. Btw I realize utopia is not possible, so “push back” is necessary.
