What people might not be aware of is that if you put a baby to a real woman’s breast after birth, the nursing action on the nipple triggers hormones to help shrink the uterus as the placenta releases from the uterine wall to prevent excess bleeding. Obviously, it’s not 100% but, with the father traipsing around trying to shove his nipple in the baby’s mouth he actively prevented this biological process and the mother could’ve died. That is what I find disturbing in this stupid story.
