Thank you, great post. Nuclear bombs are an interesting topic. I’ve been on carriers that have 8 reactors, very tight “no fail” designs. US Navy has been using nuclear power since the 50’s, not one meltdown.
I think all the “meltdowns” we have seen in the past are orchestrated.
Thomas Friedman came up with what is known as the Golden Arches Theory of Conflict Prevention, where he claims no two countries with McDonald’s franchises have ever gone to war with each other. The article was a ‘tongue in cheek’ joke, but McDonald’s got alot of press in March 2022 when they reported that they closed their stores in Russia. “Starbucks joins McDonald's in exiting Russia” May 23, 2022, cbsnews. Interesting synchronization, they’ve (McD) been franchising there for 32 years, about 900 stores.
