Just a suggestion, but without reading anyone's articles or watching any videos, you might try to think up experiments or observations by which you can personally distinguish whether the planet is flat, round, or otherwise.

Observation and experiment were used to study the universe in just such a way since long before the advent of YouTube or even the Internet.
