All the world's a stage.
In my opinion, Russia has worked pretty hard at least since the 90's to become normalized on the western world stage to help reduce the weight of the nato types and the constant attempt to tear apart the country from the outside. Going as far as trying to join the nato.
Alas, it is clear that the efforts with the whole covid stuff was also performed in Russia. Russia was trying to be a part of wef initially, but wef left on the 24th and prior to that there was a falling out already.
