We know NASA is a nonsense BS scam if for no other reason than any normal person would want to drive the rover over there to get a closer look, or at least take more pictures at different angles and times. Who even cares about "the science"? It would generate tons of public interest.
With NASA it's like, "Nah, we got all this other dust and rocks to look at. And anyway, what you saw you did not see."

Yep. There are other really strong arguments that this is fake, but this on its own is strong enough.
