37 Twitter gets acquired and quickly admits it was "overestimating" millions of users since 2019. Does this merit a purchase price adjustment? I am inclined to say yes, but it is unclear if the 1.9 million users out of the estimated 396.5 million users in 2021 is significant enough.
Is 1.9 million users the total number of bots or a number admitted to?
It was in the image. It refers to Twitter's mDAU (monetizable daily active usage). They claim that the usage of people linking mutiple accounts was incorrectly counted for each of their accounts rather than just once for their main account.
Thank you.
