They've added some ridiculous assumptions into that mix. Clearly the lizard people have had a Mandela affect.
Although it's an entertaining read. One that gained traction by a few Eastern Europeans. Until it hit conspiracy and has been further layered by a few fringe groups. There is also a novel perhaps of Russian origin with other similarities to its fantasy. The maps have changed, there has been loss. It has seemingly been replaced by mud.
But there has clearly been a greater loss. Innovation today is a spector of what once seemingly flourished as greater culture. We can thank the mud for that. Warfare and the mass invasions of machines. Until nothing lasts, even quicker today. Regardless of there being some fuckery afoul, and it gives it an edge or hint of possibility.
