I did once see a ghost. It was 1998 or so, and I was staying the night at my future wife's parents' house. She woke me up in the middle of the night as we lay together, and pointed at the foot of the bed.
I swear to God, I saw a ghost of a little boy there, staring at us. Only the fact that we BOTH saw it is proof for me that it wasn't a dream. She just pointed, and after a moment when the ghost disappeared, did we talk about what we had seen. I didn't tell her what I saw until after she said she saw a little boy, at which point I said I saw a boy too.
How long did it appear? Were you guys clearly awake?
I was awake, not only do I remember it distinctly, but because we spoke about it afterwards, both that night and the next day, so it was not some shared dream. She said she inexplicably woke up, and then woke me up because of what she saw.
It was there but a moment, it seemed like a long time as we stared at each other but, it had to have only been a minute or two.
