It's more obvious by the day that COVID was China's cover to launder the failings of communism through. The isolation/separation of children from parents, the killing of pets (to feed back to the population), the food shortage, these are all classic hallmarks of communism failing that just coincidentally happen to also be problems COVID allegedly causes. The Chinese keep falling for this scam because the population has been groomed to love obedience to authority.
But they don't really have a collectivist economy anymore. They moved towards a modern day fascist state but kept the name CCP. They now have mostly private ownership with strong government coercion for the largest companies.
Do you want to be managed and treated like a herd animal? Or like a farmer?
Farmers cull the herd to avoid higher losses. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one, so to speak. It’s the mantra of socialism. Sacrifice for the common good. Just don’t ask who gets to decide who makes the sacrifice.
I prefer individualism. Every individual has value.
But they aren't afraid of those germs, why would they be? What are they really trying to do? I thought China was being built up as a power house, but now they are starving Shanghai?
Are they just making their people suffer for some upcoming globalist scheme? But what?
The CCP would straight murder 25 million for a nickel. Culling 1% of a renewable resource (humans) just isn't that significant.

also, apparently the communist party's "divine right to rule" can be threatened by a plague or pestilence, according to prophecy I think.

Is that an expected death toll?
