Ukraine WAS their territory, after all. If you're putting a puppet government into there, you're asking for problems and possibly WWIII.

And the one thing WWIII does is removing America's supremacy in the world. Simply, America relies on public trust, and that trust will shatter. Add in a Civil War to burn down the White House and you will have China and Russia taking the power vacuum. And then there will be more purges and sacrifices everywhere. A century later, they take out China and Russia in the same way before moving the core back to Israel.
