On a corner of my mind I have the impression that this is just a way to slowly escalate global reduction in oli consumption and its derivatives. Covid quarantine can be seen in the same way. They kept us for 2 years inside our homes to test how the future would like.

Well, according to this ""theory''" Russia and China would need to be on board with the elites, for population control. China has already had success with pop control in the past and their monist authoritarian form of government is strongly envied from the west. So that is the direction we are going.
This would also make feminism, and all other movements pushed intentionally for soft pop control, because they dont know how the western population would react to sudden and openly manifestation of authoritarian policy. So they have to go step by step and sometime pretend to step back, as with the "ending of quarantines" or other fake victories for the sheeple... Yet another crisis suddenly started that is analogous to quarantines, but this time not so much for human movement and activity, but for goods and consumption.
