You haven't met many Americans....you obviously don't know much about the average citizen of America.....what you know is that the government and their intelligence agencies are like that ... So is every country ... Mafias run the world...they call themselves leaders....and authorities....
If someone feels like they are deserving to rule the world. ..they are a sick fuck . Better off dead every single time.....no one wants to rule the world is a good person. That is the exclusive purview of psychopaths.....they all are the world leaders...and those who get them elected.
Maybe you have a bad group or you surround yourself with bad people? Any generalization with blurry borders is ripe for mischaracterizing.
My experience is that Americans are outspoken, but generally mostly friendly. People tend to be more friendly traveling though, so perhaps it's the ones who aren't travelling which are the problem. Small world's is the issue, not the country.
Americans tend to be less racist than most other nations from my experience. Asians and Africans are pretty racist, Aussies are more racist, Europeans are all racist (but nationalism is their more than racial stuff - and plays a large part)
Americans tend to speak their minds because they have a freedom to do so....other countries cannot fathom this and they find it rude....usually that is the biggest thing. Cultures have their approved way of saying things and Americans don't.
I for one don't like the attitude I have seen from many foreign countries....they move to benefit but they bring their cultural problems with them and bring more racism than is prevalent in the countries they move to.
Arabs, Jews, orthodox Christians from Europe are the biggest problem, followed by India and Chinese elitism....Africa is probably the least of the problems. Most people from Africa seem to be pretty pleasant, but Somalia, and a few places seem to have consistent problems..... culturally speaking.
East Asia has another source of issues....only the richest move....so the average person is trapped in these countries.....rich problems follow (elitism knows no cultural boundaries)
America has its problems. Media runs the show, pharmaceuticals and crazy advertising is rampant....you cannot get a single thing without scratching nickles together....and the idea of random states having laws all the board is a serious problem. Ingrained institutional power and a vast economic machine are the biggest issue with America. It has a consumption problem.
But.... freedom... It's usually pretty good. The problem is the intelligence agencies and the entire military industrial complex....which....is more commercial than most countries....and the government making its massive military a constant financial burden.....

Oh please. I have lived here for 35 years.
