It is entirely the result of social media. Where instead of debate, learn, discuss, form a conclusion. It instead has stiffled creativity, and learning. The opposite of the way education has taught. The opposite of Congress, Parliament. They debate yes forming commom laws from both opposition and agreement. Social media instead runs adverts and manipulates speech into likes and cancels. As it loads fake reviews and fake opinions in attempts to control any advertising and the narratives run. Absurdly, negatively, and in bias for profit or dystopia.

It is the most negative thing to hit civilization. Where our media has also become far worse as a result. Until it is nothing but suppression in attempts to profit enforce and control. Some cultures have had this, like communism, like Islam, dictatorships, perhaps a few others. But never anywhere with free speech.

No it's not every medium, but it's the direct result of its designs. Like, or cancel. And its implications are hazardous. Literally the worse it has ever been within this last decade of it. Prior there was largely freedom. Yes it makes stupid money for those usurping it. But it's simply not humanity. Complicity perhaps. Although that's becoming utterly debatable.
