It's always refreshing to read Hitchens, he belongs to a dying bread of actual intellectuals, not the bloated windbag warmongers that are the only fools allowed to voice an opinion in the media these days.
Actual journalists are a dying breed. Today it's more about narrative control and parroting what the controlling interests want to be said.
