More like some kind of power shift or coup when two branches of power fight for the control in country. Interesting that Chernobyl nuclear power plant is guarded by joint forces of Ukrainian and Russian army. Even military losses are order of magnitude less than losses from killing of ordinary people in hospitals under guise of coronahoax. There are no any evidence of any massive battles at all. Single damaged tank here and there, some trucks driving by pontoon-bridge over some puddle, some armed people walking in the street, a single cannon shoots few shots, some old barn made from junk destroyed, few damaged buildings in towns, lot of cars in lines to Polish border, working shops and businesses in towns - that is what you could see. Too strange to be war.
Some of it is current, most of it is old. And yeah, it's mostly for show (though I'm sure a few idiots on the ground didn't get the memo, or got into accidents without intending to).
But hey, at least it's moving on from the covidiocy of the past two years. Yesterday the guard at my local (Balkan nation) mall told me the jab passes are no longer mandatory. As he put it, it's "masks off, helmets on" for the time being. And, well, while the "masks" show was something generally unfamiliar to my region, the "helmets" sequel is just the remake of an old classic. All it takes now is for bell-bottom jeans and the Macarena to make a comeback, and it's the 90s all over again.

The issue is many are making fake videos or using old footage to create strawmen to which their side debonk themselves to create their own confusing fog of war narrative so they can claim whichever side is lying/coping and so on. It's like a serious form of Sam Hyde memes. This type of shit was rampant during the attacks in Syria.
The other issue is that the videos never have accurate context. The descriptions/captions are always a person's interpretation of the same video we're watching, sometimes passed down from the source the uploader got the video from, usually rephrased and misquoted.
It doesn't help that Ukrainians and Russians look exactly the same. So any atrocity you see you just assume is the fault of the Russians, if you "support" Ukraine. Even going as far as literally saying "Russian soldiers in Ukrainian uniforms driving a Ukrainian tank." Maybe that's true... but... come on, at least show an ounce of skepticism.
