Your two possible explanations are plausible. There are other possibilities - that there is a shadow war with shadow players and Trump was a distraction (could be from white or black hats). In my opinion (about $0.01 worth), the true draining of the swamp could not happen from a single individual. And it would be more likely to succeed if it happened out of the public eye (same way the swamp got filled). Puppets and puppet masters. Agents turn.

Modern warfare is shadow warfare. Unfortunately we are mostly ignorant (though you and I are an order of magnitude less ignorant than sheep). Reading through fake history, I’m more cautious about taking sides on public-facing issues (because I figure much of what we see is meant to deceive in some way).
It’s probably true that vaccines are killing people. But are they the ‘mark of the beast’ weapon we’ve been looking for? I don’t know. With the way they’ve stumbled I would guess that it won’t be.
