Is that your guess or do you have info/theories on who it was?
The secret of who did them was broken by some Christian organization a few years back, doing some dirty tactics to unmask the guy, who at that point was long dead, through his lawyer. As for me, I listened to a "Jimmy Akin's Mysterious World" episode on them.
