It won't take long for those in the metaverse to go crazy, absolutely mental...bonkers. Once people can't tell the difference between real life and the metaverse or they prefer the metaverse to real life, their mental health will deteriorate and they will be as useful in society as a homeless scitzophrenic. I like the occasional VR game, but the Mental health consequences of long term exposure is unknown. I've heard long sessions can make people feel disassociated!
Also, I believe AR will make people go nuts faster as their real world gets overlayed with filters, avatars, spoken instructions, etc. I mean that doesn't sound too different from scitzophrenia.

already happening. i can BARELY tell the difference between some of the newest games and real life tbh. especially the shooters. it's fucking insane
In that case, give all your guns to a relative till you can sort things out, or only play early 2000 shooters.
