I have no argument against God or a higher power. I think we all inherently know deep within us that there is more to this.
Organized religion takes advantage of that feeling and fills the void with nonsense and fairy tales so that you stop looking. The answers are provided for you and you're taught to take things on "faith" and stop asking questions. AKA: Trust The Plan. Which is precisely why the overlap of fanatical Christians and QLarp victims is so huge. The tracks were already greased.
