I agree.... they don't want that, even if they could still collect data on you via a solution like that, they want full control and access.
i come from the generation of physical media...
get DVDS and Blurays while you can... streaming services are actively censoring old TV shows and Films...
to make them more "accessible" .
they're literally destroying art and information 1984 style.. with no shame..
