my grandpa had one, it was the coolest thing at the time because it allowed us to watch US programming from northern Ontario. had a button that actually made the fucking sucker move so it could connect to different satellites each with different programing. Other kids had shit YTV and i was watching Cartoon Network like a 10yo boss
Anyway I never thought about it till recently but its weird that the Dish had to move to specific directions to pick up specific singles from satellites.
i find that weird that you need to point a dish in a specific direction to get a signal from something moving 17000 miles per hour.. around our pear-ish sideways egg shaped planet.
to me this only makes sense if they were somewhat stationary🤔... are they all just lunched on balloons like this?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hK_kWN0BsKs
P.S. I prescribe to neither the globe or flat earth theory (to me this shit is nothing short of a weird biological simulation with a possible oblivious creator) so dont mistake my distrust of NASA for anything other then that.. I just fucking dont trust NASA anymore.
It's great when we start thinking about these things. Eventually people will have to realize the narrative they built in their minds from all of the lies breaks down. Yes, the signal is coming from a stationary object. Either a satellite suspended by huge weather balloons or a tower. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense that satellite dishes don't have to constantly be moving.
