School closings and "remote learning" have caused a massive mental health crisis among teenagers. This, and the disruption to their intellectual development, will be enduring and severe. (twitter.com)

It IS going to get worse from here on.

The consequences that I warned about affecting 80% of whoever survived the upcoming decade long lockdowns and making sure even as they are taken down or self-destruct, the only thing that awaits us is not mirth but oblivion.

Similar to how zoomer kids viewed anyone not born with a smartphone in hand as a "boomer," I shudder to think how the next generation will look down on people raised in the provincial time when you could still see everyone's faces. Imagine growing up and everyone around you, from your friends to the teacher, to the girl you like in class, you only get to steal glimpses of what they actually look like. You might see that girl on a video screen, but you won't ever get the thrill of a terrifyingly awkward one-on-one unmasked interaction with her. These kids are going to grow up with all kinds of screws loose because of this shit.

Now give this a whole decade, and you will find out society does not recover from oblivion.

2 years to a 30 year old isn't a whole lot.

2 years to a 10 year old is 20% of their life.

Try 10 years, not 2.

When it becomes 10 years, I will.

You will what? Commit suicide? Gun them down? Arrest them? Enjoy your oblivion?

Try 10 years, not 2

When it becomes 10 years, I will try 10 years because it's become 10 years and not 2 years. As it hasn't quite round the corner into 2 years yet, I will round up and use 2 years for the example, not 10.

Hope that clears it up.

Asking this anyway.

Can you imagine what will happen to you and everyone else if this continues for 10 bloody years though?

And do not forget the upcoming "neverending" lockdowns occupying 10 years in your life. It can and will happen.

There is just no way we would make it 10 years without a revolution or a complete collapse of society as we know it. I don't think we would even make 4 or 5 years. In certain ways it feels like a lot of us are hitting our limits already.

The Cambodian Genocide lasted 4 years and the consequence is Oblivion.

The Chinese Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution lasted 10 decades. The only thing that Changes is China turning from a Leftist Antifa killer Dictatorship into a rightist dictatorship.

Nazi Germany lasted for 12 years.

Lenin and Stalin combined lasted for 4 decades.

And the world wars lasted 3 decades.

You seem to underestimate how much of a monstrosity will go unopposed entirely no matter what. You're on a tipping point, so? It's not like everyone but me here cares in Hong Kong or Japan.

That the masks and the weakening and coddling of children. I wont be suprised when theres an uptick of serial killing and mental health issues are going to skyrocket as these kids get older.
