Well everyone that's been alive the last 2021 years, it has been happening. The end started when Jesus' physical form left the earth. And since 1948 and Israel became a nation it has indeed been accelerating. I've been looking into eschatology stuff a bit and there aren't very many more prophecies to be fufilled til the actual end. What a time to be alive dude.
Assuming you were born before the year 2000, it's pretty cool to see not only the turn of the century, but the turn of the millennium. Lots of incredible advancements. Yeah, I think it's a pretty cool time to be alive.
Thinking you're part of the last group of people to be alive though is something different altogether though. Maybe some slight undiagnosed narcissism? A little bit of delusion? Idk, but neither does anyone else. Especially some handmedown collection of fairy tales. I have a while lot kore faith in the Mayans and they totally missed the mark. Or we interpreted them incorrectly, much the same as we would with the Bible.
Here's the thing, I hope very much I am not one of the last generation, for the simple fact that God would like none to perish in hell and I'm of a similar mind. However we are also called to be ready at all times to meet our maker. It's very freeing actually to know I am not in control and my only job is to love until im called home. Whenever that may be. Edit: it's all the same to me, end of the world or end of my life, job's still the same, it doesnt change anything for me.

I agree with you here.
