I get it he's not the one you wanted but you have got to remember Hillary was the one suppose to be in charge and we WOULD be at war with Russia by now if she had.
We escaped some VERY fucked up things cause she didn't win and it turns out she has a 'victory' speech prepared ahead of time and they even celebrated ahead of time before the actual results were counted in 2016 and had to have 'color crayons' to calm down in universities.
Yes 40 year old adults having crayons and a 'time out' room because Hillary lost.
I believe that part of the way people here have come to terms with the election theft was to rationalize that Trump was in on it or he was picked to win in 2016 or something like that. Some even go so far as to think he's all part of the Deep State system, never mind Russiagate and how they went apeshit for 4 years to destroy him and failed every time until they tried good old fashioned ballot box stuffing.
He deserves a fair amount of anger for still saying you should get vaxxed, but meh, he was better than Hillary and in 2024 will be better than her again. If he was in charge, the only vax mandates would be coming in blue states.
Maybe some people got caught up in his cult of personality? The upset former supporters are, in some ways, what I observed in Obama-drones upset in 2016, upset that he didn't manage to fundamentally transform the country. Betrayal is a hard emotion to deal with.
You lost me past Obama Drones as your sentence mushes together there. Care to enlighten me here about that? I get everything else except Russia Gate? When did Russia built a gate?
"Russiagate" is the nickname (based on Watergate) for the political scandal that happened when the Deep State tried to make the public convinced that Trump has colluded with Russia to win 2016. We are still in the midst of that, because there is still a special investigator that has indicted some people for perpetrating the hoax.
Now, Obama was a very charismatic figure. Like Trump. They both inspired people and had a massive following. They both over promised and under delivered. Obama was a lame duck by 2010 when his party lost the House and reduced to a "pen and phone" presidency by 2014 when his party lost the Senate. He was, despite "winning" reelection in 2012, a president with prestige but no real power. Trump undid virtually all of his executive orders day one. Obama-drones, like Trumpists, were heartbroken when Hillary wasn't Obama's 3rd term and they came to realize how much they had been let down.
Trump promised a wall, he promised deportations, he promised an end to American troops overseas. He promised a lot. When his party lost control of Congress in 2018, he was, like Obama, a pen and phone president. Now, he delivered on some things, and failed with others. But where he failed became pretty transparent after the election was stolen from him and the wall had yet to be finished. Trumpists felt quite let down. I was, I know, and I only grudgingly voted for the man.
This disappointment leads to resentment. I believe that's partially why people here shit on him so much.
Wow I actually got some discussion out of this. Didn't think that could happen these days.
Maybe if I call you a shill and you call be a soy faggot, it would fit in around here? /sarc People aren't open to much, I think.
