Current generations are fine because the majority is probably exposed to COVID or the vaccines, so will have at least weak immunity.

My question, is did this mutation happen naturally, or did this happen on purpose (manipulation of the virus) in an attempt to make it get past the vaccine, and thus be the reason behind the push for endless boosters?
