Owning a business is incentivized more than being a worker in America. Too many (redundant) businesses means not enough workers to go around. Couple that with horrible pay and workers finally have some agency in their lives and the ability to turn down bottom rung, low paying service jobs.
There's also the notion that there isn't a worker shortage in America at all and the propaganda telling you there is comes from corporations looking to move the automation timetable up.
These positions were filled a just a few years ago with people who needed work to pay bills. Now every manager I talk to is burnt out from not being able to find warm bodies to fill these unskilled positions. These people didn't all just start their own businesses or fall off the face of the earth. Unemployment is at too far of a low to be paying them all. Somehow there is a large group of unskilled American getting money from somewhere.

I don't agree with you. Just because you decree that you are so much more intelligent than the rest of the people who browse on here, obviously does not make it true. As far as racism goes, I see less on here than more mainstream avenues. Most of what this place fixates on is the hypocrisy of those claim to see racism everywhere.

There is an shortage of unskilled workers in this country and I want to know how they are surviving without working.
There is not enough unemployment money being paid out to explain the lack of people to fill jobs.
It is just a thought about how advertisments like the comment pic I posted, may be a pipeline to funneling money.

If millions of people are collecting unemployment insurance it is very apparent and shows up in quarterly/monthly statistics.
As opposed to people collecting disability or social security due to complications. That is a statistic I never see reported on.
