Nobody cheerleads for Tyranny save for the ones perpetrating it. Nobody wishes for 3 decades of world wars or Bolsheviks entering their country and killing millions.

It's always because of people either refusing to take action or puts their faith on ready made shills that they get their way and the people pay their price dearly.
