When I was a kid I went on a tour of the local water treatment plant. The place was kept clean and spotless with one exception. The pipes where they added the fluoride were a corroded mess. This was years before I evere heard of fluoride being unhealthy or ever seeing Dr. Strangelove but it always stuck with me.
