I'm going to tread lightly here... worked for a "construction" company in a big city. Long story short, it's a money laundering scheme. Anyways, had an article published in the local papers and was let in on how it works. Local "journalist" just stamp their name on it. The person its detailing is damn near always the one who writes the piece. All you gotta do is find out how much it costs for them to stamp their name on it. Dont believe me? Go pick a "journalist" and read all of their articles and pick apart their writing style. It's quite a trip and will be all over the place depending on the topics. It's not all journalists, but I'd safely assume most.
I think it is safe to say that the majority of our nation's journalists are not doing their job. They are following the story that is given to them by their academic editors or execs rather than doing any fact checking of their own. They are not investigating the story to find out what is really going on. The media has become a propaganda machine.
