As much as I believe welfare enables certain negative behaviors I'd rather have it than forcing you to leave your grand parents or any of your disabled relatives on the side of the road to fend for themselves because they are no longer able to be productive members of society.

There's a lot that is wrong with the current welfare system. However, its absence is worse.
