Keep in mind though, this is a creation of TV people and not Phillip K. Dick. I respect PKD's mind, but not that of TV producers. They tried to replicate some of Dick's themes via rewrites of his stories to dramatize them for TV, but with commercial goals in mind. PKD wrote to make a living, it is true, but he was never a commercial whore.
