Why do think Herbert made the "Weirding Way" in Dune?

I think if you take a step back, God to a certain extent must be weird...in the culmination of everything there's bound to be weirdness.

But then again, existence itself is very strange. And I've found that it's hard to parse it out...as in imagining how existence could be any different.
