Religion (religio; to bind anew). The bond under natural law represents offer/consent; which for us represents balance/choice. The "new" bond represents using choice to ignore balance for suggested choices by others. Everything the few suggest is aimed at deceiving the many to ignore using their choice as intended aka as a response to balance (need/want).

Those who consent to suggested choices of others are tricked into choosing want vs not want; while ignoring need.
