I predict the poor people that still have cable and watch news channels are going to be buried under law firm ads that start with:
"Were you or a loved one put on a ventilator due to Covid19?". Lawyers are going to be feeding off this for decades.
Not the way our judicial system is set up. Many cases have been filed and nothing gets anywhere. Lady Justice took a vacation, probably collecting that unemployment that pays more than what she made.
This was policy. They did it because 2 papers published around march of last year from China said this is how you deal with covid patients. The WHO then rolled out this recommendation for all member states. The papers said it was too dangerous to let covid patients breath, so throw out everything you know about treating patients with respiratory infections and put them on a ventilator.
When you subtract all the fake covid deaths (motorcycle accident etc), and all the unnecessary covid deaths from medical malpractice there probably isn't very much left at all. Probably less than an actual flu season.
"Stop them from breathing on other patients." and "stop them from breathing." are not necessarily the same thing, you know.
I'm not debating the effecacy of ventilators, but at least keep the arguments against the whole covid situation sane. You're obviously misrepresenting the doctor's statement, here.

That would require evidence that their breathing is dangerous.
Given that we still have living doctors/nurses after a year of working with Covid patients, it's clearly not that contagious.
