Once you realize that spiritual warfare, which is fought in the material realm, consists of beings almost beyond human comprehension, I suppose it's possible. Remember, when angels appear to humans in the Bible in their true nature, they scare the shit out of them.

Sometimes, when my faith is wavering, I think that maybe we are in our faiths are like Matrix movie energy cells for other beings that they are fighting over who gets the most humans to power them up.
