It's intimated in that short that we have some outside assistance. Like really outside.
And it all goes back to the Garden of Eden.
"we" as in us conspiracy theorists can't beat them. It's like when me and a friend mine had fun musing about trying to break into Tom Clancy's compound. We settled on using a honey badger with a vial of octanitrocubane.
Tech is difficult to overcome. My dad worked in Army Intelligence, and they had a mobile expanding truck that was a complete intel sending/receiving station. He could type messages in it that went directly to news agencies even, and this was in the 60s.
Even THAT had electrostatic and pressure sensitive floors. And they had a device my dad said could listen in on conversations 2000 ft away through anything.
My dad liked to reminisce about how when the "higher-ups" in the Army would come visit his squadron, intelligence always took precedence. They would eat before the generals would even.
BTW, my dad was 82nd Airborne...featured at the Charlottesville "protest". That whole squadron is kinda suspect, and I gather that there may be brainwashing going on. Perhaps even my father.
Anyhow, back on track, as intelligence, I would worry more about learning and disseminating information then I would "fighting".
Ever see I Pet Goat, II?

Our words are our weapons.
And God's on our side.
