I am calling bullshit. The reason is urine contains large amounts of ammonia. It is why pissing on jellyfish stings or possibly snakebite acts as antivenom. It is a chemical that even some of the most powerful field filtration systems cannot purify. Where these systems are so advanced for combat and space they can purify most water types, like foul, sea, dirty, and many more like toxic. But not piss. Where simply drinking piss would eventually kill you. It would be the equivalent of drinking sea water. Worse the ammonia cannot quench thirst and eventually has negative affects the more that's consummed. Because it is the body's filtration agent being sent back into the body absurdly. Faster having negative affects.
