There was certainly something that looked like it was shot from an Antarctic island and pushed one away from the U.S. I can't remember if it was dutchinse on YT that had it or another guy, but supposedly there's a radar or microwave array on that island that can be seen on many occasions to shoot out pulses that start or alter storm systems. It looks like (from what I saw) that there might be a similar one in Puerto Rico, albeit not as powerful.

Looks like every 5-10 years? It's apparently been 6 since the last one. Now a second earthquake in a year, that would be unprecedented.
