The place is crawling with them. I messaged another user to see if the feds got to his posts or he deleted them and I'm waiting on a reply, but I'm thinking the feds got to his posts.
A lot of these fed accounts are old too. It reminded me of the sleeper accounts the redditors had in the early days of the website. The sleeper accounts were three months old, so they didn't look like new accounts. These are older and more active. They lose their shit easily too. They want NO pushback.
Edit: Got the reply. The mods deleted the posts. They are coming for us.
I used to believe that online shilling was some group per cause or organization, with governments maybe having hundreds of people who controlled ten or more accounts each. Some more, some less, like USA, China, Russia, Five Eyes could be in the thousands. It doesn't work like that. They thoroughly own forums and chats.
I found this out when I pissed off one group so damn much with the information I would share, they started private messaging me every few seconds with a large number of usernames. I think they were messing with me to show me how many of them there were and I had no hope of having a positive impact.
And yes, regarding the #Justice4Jan6 demonstrations, they owned the living hell out of it and won big. Even the word "glowies" is a huge red flag for me that something is disinformation.
When shill accounts "lose their shit," it's for various reasons. Primarily, it makes them look more like an actual person. It also degrades the quality of whatever communication can happen, especially if the opposition is baited into similar behavior. I have seen it happen enough times to know for certain that it is a calculated tactic to disrupt the messaging of information they would like to suppress.
