In germany there was one guy that wrote a dedicated scientific report analyzing official data of hospitals and showed that there is no shortage of hospital beds, no shortage of ICU beds and that the government and hospitals are actively reducing the amount of beds. All while having reserves way beyond what is needed. His name is Michael Schrappe, sadly his report is completely written in German.
Needless to say that he got defamed all over the media, while being Germanys leading expert in that field. Now no one ever talks about him anymore and his report apparently got deboonked, but you can't find any arguments against the points he made other than 'iTs AgAinSt tHe SciEnCe' or 'hE dOesNt kNoW wHAt HeS tAlKinG aBoUt'
