Larry Elder is a pretty sharp guy, one of the top normie conservatives out there, especially for a black guy.
Now, everyone is saying "the fix is in" on CA due to these voter fraud allegations, such as people showing up and finding their ballot was already cast, or that case where the guy with a gun/drugs/300+ mail in ballots in his car was arrested passed out in a convenience store parking lot.
But I could see, Larry Elder, with the backing of Peter Thiel or some such, laying the bribes on thick to fight fire with fire. Then, if he wins, they can say "look, the system isn't rigged, a conservative won CA".
A "fortified" election, yep, likely. But it wasn't that long in the past that the GOP cheated as much as the Dems, maybe they are doing it again, I know I would. Larry Elder isn't stupid, he knows what's going on, and if he's smart, he'd be fighting fire with fire. It's not like there will be anything that happens from it, because if the Dems cry foul, they risk simultaneous exposure.
If Elder wins, he won't be very effectual, as when Arnold was blocked every step of the way when he was in governor of CA. Still, I'd rather have Elder in office in CA than Newsom, fraud or not, because a particular Dem CA senator is already pushing up daisies (or will be very soon) and this affects the balance of power quite distinctly.
