It's also possible they put the explosives in the Tower when they layed the CAT5 internet cabling in the 1990s, which was a very big operation requiring them to access all parts of the buildings and having to drill holes and place cabling attachemnts on the structural elements of building.

FOIA for when this was done, and who won the bid?
